That is, indeed, what Valtrex is for.
You might have got it; then again, there's a good chance you didn't. Get tested, and then you'll know (we'll hope for the better!). And -- as if this isn't now obvious to you -- this is just one of the reasons (and not even close to the worst one) why everyone keeps telling you don't have unprotected sex. |

hmm wow i am curious what the hell were you thinking not asking him about his sexual history or for not even being on the pill!!!!!!!! wow get tested and live with it i guess but everyone should learn from this and never have unprotected sex without the pill or something like that unless you want little children running around, also to know about your partners history.

Alexis:
Generally early symptoms will appear in 2-3 weeks post-exposure. They consist of flu like symptoms, malaise, fever, swollen glands, back pain, genital pain, vaginal discharge, and then lesions will appear which are very painful. They can be found in the exterior and interior of the vagina, and including the cervix (this is why you need to see the doctor). Later symptoms are similar, including leg pain, buttock pain, headache, etc. The lesions can take up to 4 weeks to heal...you can have contacted the disease and still be asymptomatic. This is a virus...go to the doctor!!! Also, how did you make out re reg? |

Alexis:
Itching can be an early sign of herpes but it is generally accompanied by fatigue/malaise...given you are preg. the symptoms could be confusing. You need to see the doctor regarding the pregnancy issue so get checked at the same time. If there is anything you need, we are here. Keep us up-to-date on how all is going. Are you okay right now? Do you have someone you can talk to?
