Could I get an STD from this?

You guys will probably just say I can't because I didn't have sex but it still bothers me. I am 16 and a few months ago I was on this cruise and my mom found this thong that some woman left from a previous cruise. My parents left and I got really horny and took out the thong and rubbed it on my dick and masturbated. When I finished I was very afraid of getting an std so I washed my dick off. Like if the woman had an std or something or if a guy on a cruise before me did what I did could I catch anything? I just need some reinsurance.

One other thought: I generally say one should not be embarassed to ask one's doctor any relevant health question. This may be an exception.

Um let's see, there is this lovely little thing called "crabs" which you may have gotten but I think that you would know by now because you'd be really itchy south of the beltline. Then again, that may be a natural state for men as it seems quite common place to scratch that a lot (Not the expert on having a penis- I kind of am a woman).

Also, there is the chance that if there were any type of STD "discharge" on that thong and you had any small cuts or anything like that, you may get infected that way.

And there is the whole thing about the amount of bacteria that comes from the anal region, where thongs kinda hang out.

So yeah, I would highly recommend getting tested.

Well I haven't had to scratch any more then I usually had to before and I have no signs, well in the begining it hurt a little but I think it was just nerves because it went away a little later. I wouldn't definitly catch something because thats pretty unfair I'm 16 and its just horrible that I could get something this young and I didn't even have sex or anything and if I did I woulda wore a condom and all. This sucks.

No I just hope I didn't catch something and was asking if I would have definatly caught something because I don't seem to have any signs of anything. I think it would be unfair if I did catch something.

*sigh* See a doctor and get tested all the same - that way you would KNOW. Then if any opportunities arise later on for intercourse, you know you began clean and are more likely to wear your condoms.
