Chance of being pregnant?

me and my friend had sex just last fri, i wasnt wearing a condom, and like, as far as i kno didnt cum inside of her, and didnt even get very close to orgasm while inside of her (im aware of precum so i kno that i cant be sure) were almost positive everything is good (but were still waiting), we just kinda got caught in the moment, ya kno?, but i just want a realistic statistic/percentage of the chance that shes pregnanat. i kno ppl that just let every thing out in a girl and she still doesnt get pregnant, so whats the chance? i mean i kno that no one is gonna kno exactly im pretty much just looking for some1 to say,
well, u shouldnt do that, but theres youll probably be fine.
thanks.

you shouldn't do that... but you if worried get her a pregnancy test... if outcome is negative and still worried then see a doctor.

Basically if you are too lazy to do either wait until her period.. if she misses is by over 2 weeks and shows the symptoms of pregnancy she MAY be pregnant but will still need to see a doctor to be 100% sure

Well, here are some numbers to think about. My guess is that in the end they probably won't help your nervousness though...

The stat that I've seen a fair amount lately is for couples having unprotected sex there is about a 25% chance each month for the woman to get pregnant. I've also seen that for teenagers (which I assume you two are) the number is closer to 50%. I've seen these numbers in reference to couples trying to conceive, so they are assuming regular unprotected sex.

For a one time incident - it depends on how close to ovulating she was. Sex within a couple of days of ovulation is most likely to lead to pregnancy. Assuming a 28 day cycle, and a 4 day "most risky" period, that's 1/7 = about 14%. On top of that you have to factor in wether sperm and egg "meet". All these numbers are rough, and should not be taken as anything more then approximations.

In the end, stats don't really tell you anything about your situation. They can help you feel better, but you can't be sure until you're sure. It's like playing the lottery - sure, it's damn unlikely you are going to win anything, but there is still a chance.

Some datapoints - some friends of mine tried for 6 months before getting pregnant. A friend of mine from high school got pregnant while on the pill. Another couple I know had to go to invitrr fertilzation to get pregnant. Other people have gotten pregnant the very first time they had sex.

Good luck.

Well ... since you're talking about an actual event that has already happened, the chance is either 100% or 0%, but you don't know which one.

There's no way to be sure other than to take tests or wait.

I'm not as concerned with pregnancy here as I am with the potential for disease. Not wearing a condom is just plain stupid.

Getting all caught in the moment is not my idea of taking responsibility or protecting the person you supposedly love. You should think about not having intercourse until you can.

Somewhere between zero and zilch.
Why am I so confident in my reply? First precum does not contain sperm. "First" means anytime immediately following emptying the bladder. Also true is that precum does contain traces of sperm, although this holds true for subsequent appearances after ejaculating and before urinating, again.

And yet, people get pregnant without the guy ever ejaculating. You're likely correct, but it's best to be realistic. Even with protection, there will always be a chance of pregnancy.
