The Importance of Safer Sex

I just wanted to make a post emphasising the importance of safer sex. It is vitally important that you practice safer sex every single time you have sex with someone whom you do not know about their history or STD status with. Frankly, I'd recommend practicing safer sex every time regardless of whether you know their history or not. Of course if you are married and you know that your spouse is clean then go ahead and don't practice safer sex but it'd probably be a good idea for you and him to get tested every year or so for common diseases.

Safer sex does not just mean using a condom though using a condom is vitally important for both heterosexual relationships and homosexual ones. I would recommend using a water based lubricant with condoms to make things more slippery and easier to go. Also, a condom on your dildo or vibrator helps keep it clean. It still needs to be disinfected every time you use it though.

If you are going to perform oral sex on a woman, you should use a dental dam. A dental dam is a piece of plastic that you put over the genitals over the woman to use. You should also use a dental dam if you are going to have oral sex on the anus. You can buy flavored dental dams or you can cut a condom down the middle. You can also use plastic wrap.

Female condoms are also nice to try if you want added protection. It would be nice to use them with the male condom if you are having heterosexual sex. Of course, I don't see the use of female condoms as a requirement but if you really want the added protection then go ahead.

Then comes unwanted pregnancies. To protect against unwanted pregnancies you should see your gynecologist, clinician, or family doctor and see if they will put you on the birth control pill, shot, IUD, patch, or ring. Condoms and spermicide also work well for protection against pregnancy. You can use either by itself or together. Please do remember though that hormonal birth control (pill, shot, IUD, patch, or ring) does not protect against STDs. You must use a barrier method such as condoms or dental dams to protect against STDs.

Female condoms are an alternative to standard condoms. You shouldn't use both of them at once.

I don't see why it would hurt but you are correct in that the female condom is an alternative to the male condom.

Try wearing a plastic glove and rubbing two fingers together.
It's not unlike why a guy should not double up on condoms.

You apparently haven't read the instructions:

Can an FC female condom and a male condom be used at the same time?

You should not use two condoms at the same time. Using the condoms simultaneously may cause friction resulting in either or both condoms slipping or tearing, and/or the displacing of the outer ring of FC to the inside of the vagina.
