Birth Control Pills AND Condoms?

Hello. I was wondering weather birth control pills should be used with condoms for a couple free of STIs. I am currently on the pill and my partner and I usually have sex without condoms. I've sort of been afraid about not using condoms because of precum and the fact that he has once cum inside me. I have taken my pills regularly at the same time of day (with the exception of maybe 1 or 2 days that I've forgotten to take my pill at the right time, but remembered a few hours later). I'm also on a low-dosage pill (Allesse). Do I have reason to worry that we don't use condoms? Has anyone regularly had sex using only the pill as their birth control?

Thanks

Also, if your partner ejaculates inside you, considering that you take the pill regularly, is that reason to take the morning after pill?

My wife is not on the pill and I do not use a condom. She uses a diaphragm and it works well for us. Now, having said that, we are fully prepared for a life changing experience should she ever become pregnant.

Pills are highly effective when used properly. If the two of you are prepared to become parents should you become a statistic for failure, then I see no reason given your circumstances to also use a condom.

I think most women in monogamous relationships use BC pills only. Brandye quoted that if 100 women take the pill correctly for one year... 3 will become pregnant.
I am in a relationship and only use BC pills. I have for over 3 years and have been ok. I do take my the same time everyday... and like you said, if not a few hrs later.
The pill is made so that he can cum inside you. Either way you are protected, but him not ejaculating would cut down your chances.
You would not need to the MA pill. That would really throw your hormones out of whack.

Browser will become famous soon enough
No system of birth control is 100% efficient. Using condoms and the pill will help stack the odds greatly in your favor.

Personally I'd recommend using a condom if you are unsure of your partner's sexual history or status as far as being clean goes.

If you cannot afford to get pregnant, use both. While BC pill has a high rate of effectivness, adding a condom cuts your chances of getting pregnant even further. Better be safer than sorry. Right?!

True, but the point of the pill is so that you don't have to use a condom isn't it? So sex feels better! But good point if you can't afford it use both.

Ture. However, sex feels a lot better when you are not interupted by screams of the baby you weren't ready for. Just like in the car, you got both seatbelts and airbags, be more safe and use both until you are married and know that a pregnancy would not be a disaster.
