I'm only re-posting this again cuz I haven't got an answer by anyone yet! to the forum leader: if you could just let me know where you answered a similar question, so i can go find it. I'm really in need for a little help here, thanks.

Hi, sorry if what I'm asking is silly or stupid, but I just want to find out. My period was late for around 2 days, i'm not sure if its because i took morning after pill like 2 months ago so it's not adjusting "well" and the cycle is still messed up. and i thought i was kinda stresssed out this week so period hasn't came on time. BUT it finally came today, but it was weird cuz my bf and I had sex today, WITH a condom on and it didn't break or anything cuz he pulled out when he cum (last time the condom broke that's why we're kinda scared, didn't wanna leave it inside me while he cums). after 2 hours I had my period.

1)from last time the condom broke, i went to the doc's and tested i wasn't pregnant. so did having period just 2 hrs after having sex mean anything? or is it just a coincidence.. cuz i know that i shouldn't be pregnant or anything cuz we used a condom.

2) when in the week you know your period is gonna come, is it still not safe to have sex WITH a condom?

1. probably just a coincidence.... I have had that happen before... all that probing and proding can make the blood start flowing.

2. It is never really a "safe" time. Especially w/ younger girls, our cycles are erratic and we never are sure exactly when we ovulate... plus sperm can live in the body for a few days.
I am pretty sure condoms give the same amount of protection.. no matter what time of the month it is.

I did respond to this somewhere here. The timing is a coincidence. Sex with a condom is OK any time in your cycle.

When we experience orgasm, there are contractions of the uterus. This may loosen the lining and bring on a period that is about to start anyway.
