With Plan B, you are never sure whether there was a fertilized egg or not. In an earlier post to your previous question I described how Plan B works. If you had not ovulated, it woul stop that. If you had ovulated but the egg was not yet fertilized, it would form a shell to preven fertilization. If you had a fertilized egg, it would prevent implantation in your uterine wall. All would result in your having a period. These are exactly the things that the pill would do.
There are various definitions of when you are pregnant. Some would say that when the egg is fertilized; some, when it implants; some when the zygote would get to some stage. That is more a religious question than a medical one.
The side effects of the hormones in Plan B could cause emotional reaction and following abortion many women have emotional issues. Plan B is not considered, medically, to be an abortifacaent. That is, it will not interrupt a healthy pregnancy so you did not cause an abortion of a healthy fetus.
