Now, for my input on the topic. Generally speaking, if you do not want to be an unwed mother and are not prepared to raise a child, then you should be using some form of high reliability contraceptive like the pill you are taking.
If your partner does not want to be an unwed father and is not prepared to raise a child, then he should be using some form of high reliability contraceptive like the condom.
No contraceptive is one hundred percent for sure guaranteed perfect. Married or not, both of you should be looking out for and taking care of Number One. The younger you are the more apt you are to have an unplanned pregnancy. Teens are at very high risk even when using contraceptives. People in their twenties are next highest. Misuse of the contraceptive, forgetfulness, and just the laws of average and probability will catch up so someone and it could be you the first time or the time after that. If you both are using a contraceptive, you will just have that much more reliability.
Think of having intercourse like this: You are playing Russian roulette with a loaded cannon in which the one barrel is primed and loaded with live ammo.
> Even with just foreplay, my bf sometimes wears a condom, but I still get nervous.
Why are you nervous about this activity? The "cannon" is most likely some distance away and not even aimed at the entrance; moreover, it has a sheath over the business end. Be realistic.
