Sex on the pill? IMPORTANT please

If there is absolutely no risk of my getting STDs from my partner (he's completely loyal and has had a bloodscreening) is it technically possible for me to have sex without a condom and not get pregnant?

I'm on YAZ. I've never had sex before, and I'm supposed to take three packs of non-RX pills before I get my prescription. I don't plan to have sex until I finish my first RX pack.

If I were to buy spermicidal foam or jelly, and use that along with the pill, without a condom, is my prevention method any more effective?

There's a history of easy pregnancy in my mother and my mother's mother. Does this change the effectiveness of my pill?

I want my first time to be really natural, and I want to be able to relax about it. Even with just foreplay, my bf sometimes wears a condom, but I still get nervous.

So basically what I'm asking is:

If I'm on the pill, and I don't use a condom but I DO use spermicidal products, what's my chance of getting pregnant?

Does this change if I have a high pregnancy rate history?

Thank you .

I have a similar situation my cousin was pregnant on the pill twice but most of that I think was miss use. And my family has had no shortage of easy pregnancy. I had sex like a week into my first ever pack and no problem but I was still nervous. We just have him withdraw b/f he comes then not as much worry. That is how I ease my mind about it.

At least for my first time, I want him to be able to cum inside of me.

And I take my pill perfectly -- within 30 seconds every night.

No. You started the thread twice in two different places; you keep it straight.

Now, for my input on the topic. Generally speaking, if you do not want to be an unwed mother and are not prepared to raise a child, then you should be using some form of high reliability contraceptive like the pill you are taking.

If your partner does not want to be an unwed father and is not prepared to raise a child, then he should be using some form of high reliability contraceptive like the condom.

No contraceptive is one hundred percent for sure guaranteed perfect. Married or not, both of you should be looking out for and taking care of Number One. The younger you are the more apt you are to have an unplanned pregnancy. Teens are at very high risk even when using contraceptives. People in their twenties are next highest. Misuse of the contraceptive, forgetfulness, and just the laws of average and probability will catch up so someone and it could be you the first time or the time after that. If you both are using a contraceptive, you will just have that much more reliability.

Think of having intercourse like this: You are playing Russian roulette with a loaded cannon in which the one barrel is primed and loaded with live ammo.

> Even with just foreplay, my bf sometimes wears a condom, but I still get nervous.

Why are you nervous about this activity? The "cannon" is most likely some distance away and not even aimed at the entrance; moreover, it has a sheath over the business end. Be realistic.
