Condom stayed in partner

When we were done having sex my girlfriend stood up and realized that the condom was still in her... we were kinda unsure about what just happened. the opening of the condom was outside of her vagina and we checked it for breaks and nothing. all the semen was inside the condom and the outside of the condom was dry. I'm assuming it slipped out at the very end as i took it out when i went soft because i do remember seeing it on me towards the end. I'm assuming this is just a slight paranoia but just needed some comments to see if anyone has had this happen... thanks

Very common occurrence. Peopl get more freaked out when the condom has been rolled off and disappeared up into the vagina. If you read the instructions, you will find that the condom should be rolled all the way against the body and the penis, while holding the condom, should be removed immediately after ejaculation.

Be extra safe: use spermicide in the vagina in addition to the condom.

We use condoms with spermicide already on it, is that good enough? Im sure everything is fine in this situation but for future times are the condoms good enough?

The spermicide on the condom is adequate for lubrication and gives some protection from the little devils swimming around the open end. But, no, it is not sufficient. Last I read stated something like 150 grams of spermicide is required to give real protection. That is a full applicator.

One last question to make sure: is it possible that a condom can slip off during intercourse? I'm sure it's possible but wouldnt u realize it?
