The Pill
Morning All,
Just a quick question, my girlfriend has recently began taking the pill im unsure of the name so apologies, however she has been on her period for 9 days since taking the pill.. is this normal.. Cheers

When I first started taking the pill I had breakthrough bleeding... which was very light but annoying... almost the first month. then I got my real period and once i started my second pack... everything has been just right.

No, it is not normal but it is not perticularly unusual. Many women have to try a few pills until they find one that works properly.
