Birth Control and Condoms. Please Help!

I'm going to begin using birth control whenever my next period is, and my doctor appointment isn't for another 2 1/2 months.

The first month of me taking the pill, my boyfriend and I are going to have sex for the first time. We know that it won't be fully effective until the second month of me taking it, so for the first month he is going to use a condom.

My question is, is it safe for us to not use a condom the second month and the rest of the months on, assuming that I take the pill correctly (the same time everyday).

To rephrase, If I'm taking the birth control pill correctly, and he doesn't use a condom and happens to ejaculate inside my vagina, will I become pregnant?

Most doctors recommend a full menstural cycle and then you are safe. Some of the pill brochures show one week. Be safe and after your second period, all should be well. Remember nothing is absolute.

No birth control is 100% effective. Using a condom with the pill can never hurt.
