Fingering and stds

okay, i have never had sex or done oral sex or anything but i fingered a girl last night. Is it possible that i could have gotten an STD from fingering a girl, possibly the vaginal fluids on my hand touching the shaft of my penis?

Oh and would the STD symptoms immediatley show up the next day?

Not very likely. And any symptoms would show up a couple weeks to a couple months later.

Yes you can get an STD w/ just skin on skin contact and no fluid contact, it's called HPV which creates herpes and can lie dormant on your body for 10+ years before you see a breakout and you might just be a "carrier" and give a partner year's from now HPV and they could end up w/ warts from you and you wouldn't even know who you got it from, where or how or why.

Even if you wear condoms, you can still contract HPV, again, just skin on skin contact.

Bottom line here is that nothing is 100% from STD's other than NOT having sex or sexual contact at all. You should be VERY selective in who you are "fooling around with" instead of just "having fun"...you'll regret it!

If he didnt have any major cuts, wounds on the fingers or hands and if you washed your hands you should be fine.

By the age of 30 about fifty percent of the population has some form of HPV. There are nearly 100 different strains and most of them seem to be non-dangerous. There are, however, four that have been associated with cervical cancer. There is now a vaccination that protects against these and most NHS are recommending that all women be innoculated in their early teens. Some are recommending innoculation as young as nine.

Just to clearify... The Human Papilloma Virus is Completely separate from the Herpes Complex Virus. Hpv, aka The most common std around cannot be caught from fingering a girl, It requires direct skin to skin contact, but yes, condoms wont cut it. Its very unlikely to spread an std like that. Well, I suppose you could, but I could be struck by lighting twice tomorrow.
