Question What are the odds??

My girlfriend and I are both 21 years old and we have been together for 3 years already and are curious about pregnancy because neither of us are ready. For the past 3 months my girlfriend would get nausea after she ate and it would go away within 10 minutes. This usually lasted over a 2 week period and would go away for about 2-3 weeks and than it would come back for a little bit. We never had any previous unprotected sexual encounters and her periods were normal and were a consistant 33 day cycle, so pregnancy is ruled out.

My problem is: My girlfriend finished her period on June 15th and on June 16th we decided to experience unprotected sex. We only did it for about 10 seconds and than we used a condom. A few days later after she ate she became nauseous again and it lasted for about 2 days. So I told her to take some vitamins because I believed it could be her diet. So she bought some vitamins and has not had an episode of nausea since. My question is what are the odds of pregnancy of 10 seconds of unprotected sex, 1 day after a finished period, and no previous ejaculations within the past 5 days?

Brandye is a jewel in the rough
Statistically, the odds are very low. The reality is that the male genito-urinary tract, especially during arousal, is full of sperm and some of these (perhapps a million) did enter her vagina. Ten seconds gets one just as pregnant as all night - the time in there is irrelevant.

It sounds like the nausea and discomfort pattern is merely repeating the previous pattern. Something is going on and she should get it checked unless she likes being sick.

And now go get a tube of vaginal jelly, with applicator, and a new box of condoms. Use both. As described on the accompanying brochure.
