asking mom

hey everyone! okay background story: me and my boyfriend are both 17 and we've had sex like 10 or 12 times. no problems. but everytime we do it, he gets extremely nervous that im gunna get pregnant, even though he uses a condom and pulls out. like two week ago, he told me that he didn't want to do it again until i go on the pill so he won't worry as much about me getting pregnant.

now don't get me wrong, i want to go on the pill too, but i don't know how to go about asking my mom about it. i'd rather ask her and have her know that im on it than do it behind her back and risk her finding out. my parents are really cool about most things but sex is hardly ever mentioned in my house so i have no idea how my mom would react if i brought up 'the pill'. i guess i could say my period is irregular because i think it is lol but im not sure what constitutes irregular or not. so..do you guys have any suggestions about what/how i should ask my mom about it?

Until you decide what to do about the pill, use spermicidal jelly in your vagina in addition to the condom. The combination gives you protection about equal to the pill.

Go to s women's health clinic or tell your mother your period is messed up (she will know the truth) or tell her you want on the pill. Those are your alternatives.
