Inhibited Ejaculation

Hey, I'm posting this for my best friend and her husband. They've been married for several years and have had five children and until recently, a very active and healthy sex life.
About three months ago 'Bob' had a vasectomy; he is now finding himself unable to ejaculate (no problem getting and keeping an erection) and is still having soreness in his testicular area. He cannot ejaculate with intercourse OR masturbation. His wife, 'Helen' says they have tried just about every position to mix it up, and still no go. The problems ejaculating started approximately a week ago. My suggestion is to take it to the doctor, but I offerred to post this here for them as well.
In addition to this, Helen is having problems with her vaginal muscles contracting to the point of it being impossible for him to re-enter her if he slips out. She took my advice and tried some simple meditation techniques when this happens, and has had success with it. She's wondering, though if this would be a similar condition to vaginismis (sp?) and should she see her doctor for it. I, of course, say 'see the doctor' lol.
Anyway, any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated. Bob is working 10 hour days and we are thinking the problem may be related to physical exhaustion.

Unable to ejaculate and continued sorenss in his "testicular area?" You got to be kidding. Why is he not sitting on the urologist's desk demanding examination. That is not normal. The pain is what trips my trigger. If a wound is painful after a few eeks, we seek help. This is a wound.

There have been some documented cases (about 1%) of men having trouble with ejaculating because they feel they are no longer whole. There have been cases of women becoming non-orgasmic after the husband's vasectomy because "she is not getting everything she should." Neither of these involve pain or soreness but this should not be ignored!!!!

Thanks Brandye! I've been telling Bob to go see a doctor, but my advice alone wasn't enough. It didn't seem right that he is still having soreness after such a long time.
I read your response to his wife and she has booked an appointment for him; thank you again SO MUCH!
