i have small bumps growin all over the skin of my penis and scotum. i think it may be just the hair root because they are only were a hair is groing on my scotum but i dont have them above my penis were the hair is nor do i have hair growin on my penis except a few of the bumps have hair growing out of them.I also have really small bumps under the foreskin were the head of my penis meets the shaft.i was wondering if someone knew what it was and if they could tell me ways to treat.please reply i would apreciate it so much,thanks alot.

There are a few threads on this from the last year or so. You are correct in identifying them as hair follicles. Think of this as a form of acne. Keep youself cery clean and if they get worse or larger, see a doctor.

thanks alot for replying im glad to here that its just a form of acne although acne down there isn't great but its a relief from some of the other thoughts i'v had,thanks again.

p.s if you or any one else knows a way get rid of them or help clear it up could you please let me no it would be greatly appreciated.

The bumps are known as "Sebaceous Prominence".

They are quite common and you should not try to get rid of them.

thanks ta both of you brandy and dancin doctor thanks for those articles they helped me understand this better now all i have to do is find out how much that laser surger is and save up for it thanks again guys ive been worried about this for a long time and you guys really helped me alot.

Forget about laser surgery or any other type of treatment. Just let them be and they will go away all on their own, eventually. You are not the only male type to have these. Just consider them beauty marks and nothing more. You might possibly find that by rubbing one particular one while stroking that it has become a "hot spot".
