Exclamation Herpes maybe?

Ok so one of my ex-boyfriends had herpes(not genital), but it was after I broke up with him. I don't know if he had it before I dated him, but I don't think he did. Now my current boyfriend is getting little random zit looking things on his penis. Its not constant but every once in a while one will show up.
I never had herpes though, so is it possible that I maybe carried it and gave it to my current boy friend? And if not, what might the zit things be?

Please help me...

Well, it is possible to be a carrier without any apparent lesions. One of the reasons that STDs are more dangerous to women is that they may be invisible. I would recommend that you both get checked. Beyond that an answer is not possible.
