The condom will help protect you, but do not feel like you're invincible because of a little layer of latex between you and your parnter. Notice that no condom will guaruntee you protection from disease or pregnancy. Best advice: if you're not comfortable about having sex with someone with an STD because you're afraid you might get it, don't have sex with that person, it's the only surefire way to make sure you don't contract the disease.

That's right, I referenced Aqua Teen Hunger Force in giving relationship advice. What of it?

Brandye is a jewel in the rough
Condoms REDUCE the chance of contracting the STD just they REDUCE the chance of pregnancy; neither is eliminated. The specific STD does make a difference. Bacterial infections that are transmitted by body fluids, viral diseases and those that can be contracted from lesions away from the genitals are all different.

If you know she has an STD, wait until it gets cleared up. Is reducing your chance of contracting from, say, seventy-five percent to fifteen percent acceptable to you?
