Question for Brandye..

As i guy i value your prfessional advice and your forte seems to lie with birth controll, so here it goes...

I posted once that my GF is alergic to latex and she is on the pill (Loette) i think its called.. the thing is 20days ago 22nd of March she finnished her period and on Saturday the 8th of April she approached me and told me shes having a period, this is odd. I recall you posting that the pill should be taken regularly, close to the hour if possible otherwise the reproductive tract gets confused and may release an egg...

Last week the 5th and 6th of April she forgot her pill, thats twice she forgot it and ended up taking it in the morning, the morning after she forgot it. Her excuse was she was very down and depressed ( i was away on business and she couldnt stand the distance between us ) Now she says she is sort of having one and we have had unprotected sex since her last period. Is her mother correct in assuming shes pregnant, or is she experiencing this as a result of an imbalance of hormoans in her system??? Yesterday 9th April she was feeling nauseus and emotional. Anything else you would like clarity on regarding times/dates, when and how, please ask so you can give a diagnosis if possible... or is that asking too much...

With her not taking the pill regularly on schedule, there is a strong possibility that she is pregnant. Only a check up can determine for certain. I can give no diagnosis but she you two have been playing roulette. The pill in her purse does no more good than a condom on the bedside table and the erratic taking can actually make pregnancy more likely.
