Herpes and Oral risks

Me and my girlfriend are both virgins and literally never even kissed any other person. Is there a risk for herpes through oral sex that i perform on her? how does herpes originate? she will perform oral on me but i wont let it go in here mouth she finish's it be hand. what our are risks? i just want to know before we go any further. thanks in advance

If you are each as free from contact with others as you describe, I do not understand the question. There would be no source for the disease.

Both oral herpes and genital herpes are caused by the herpes simplex virus; type 1 causes oral; type 2 causes genital but there can be crossover. The simple answer to your question is "yes," herpes can be transmitted by oral-oral, genital-genital or oral-genital contact, either male to female or female to male. Whether or not you ejaculate in her mouth is irrelevant.

how does someone get the herpes simplex virus? from oral sex even if both partners are free from contact with others?

we are both honestly that free from contact from other people. i have kiss one other person when i was 2 years old literally and it was for a picture. she hasnt kissed anyone or hasnt done anything with anyone.

through all this i just need basicly one question answered. Are either of us at risk?

also so that means you can get herpes from a unenfected person by normal intercourse also?

You can only get herpes from an infected person. If neither you nor your partner has herpes, you will NOT become infected with it as a result of sexual activity with each other.

You cannot spontaneously become infected with herpes for no reason.

Think of the virus as a germ. If neither of you has the germ, there is nothing to be spread. No infection in either of you, there is no way to catch it.

Flu is a viral disease. If you are with someone who does not have the flu, you won't catch it. If they have the flu, you will likely contract it.

I suggest you do some real study before getting any further in any relationship. There are many STDs more common than herpes and they can all be spread orally or genitally under the right conditions.

Go to a Planned Parenthood center or local sex clinic or women's health clinic. Get one copy of each brochure they have. Read them all, return and ask the staff for clarification. Learn what you are dealing with before you deal with it.
