Period started then stopped???

my girlfriend and i are sexually active and she is not on birth control of any kind. we recently had sex without a condom, i just pulled out...i know, bad idea. her period started four days ago and lasted for a day and then completely stopped and has yet to return. she never got cramps or anything (which she says is how it always starts), it just bled for a day then stopped. it was the normal time for it to start and would now be considered late. what are we to think? please post any answers you could offer and thanks in advance.

Sometimes a bit of bleeding occurs even if she is pregnant so she should get a test
