Stopping birth control pills

Okay the second month I took birth control pills I kept feeling this rage and I always had outbursts (started crying, screaming, etc) so I made an appointment with my doctor to switch but she told me it wouldn't make much of a difference to switch and that she gave me a low dosage. I'm on necon (nortrel, not sure what the same is now) 7/7/7 and I'm 17. My mom and my doctor seem to think it's because I'm 17. I don't know if it's the pills, my age, or both but I want to stop taking them to see what's wrong. I just took my first pill and I'm taking my second pretty soon and I was wondering if it's okay to stop this early or if I should wait another month?

I'm almost positive that you can just stop anytime you want to.

You can stop whenever you want. There may be erratic periods for a month or so. You will no longer be protected from pregnancy.

Thanks for the reply's, I can hardly find anything about stopiing birth control pills. I was also wondering if I stop in the middle of the second week will there be any side effects? I don't know if this will make my hormones be out of control like they are when I'm taking the pills since I have irritability when I'm on them.

Okay thanks. I didn't know if there would be anymore side effects and I was just making sure nothing would go on with the irritability.
