Chances of being pregnant?

Hello, I'm sorry if this could have been asked in another thread. I checked and found similar ones, but thought my situation varied a bit.

I have been on Tricyclen for about 2 years now, and I've noticed recently in the past few months that my period has been late almost every time. About 3-4 days varying. Now the problem is that I had sex on the day of the last active pill and clumsily forgot to use a condom..yes dummy me. I did not miss a single pill this month , but I always freak out so maybe I'm overreacting. However, my period is still not here. Has my cycle just lengthened or is there a chance I could be pregnant? Thanks for any help.

it is ok to be on the pill and not show menstration. that is what my doctor said when i got my pills if you are really concerned you can always take a hpt and be reasured.

You are almost certainly safe if you missed no pills. After a time on the pill, there is a tendency for the periods to stretch out. Talk to your doctor about it. Sometimes I have my patients go off the pill, using other contraception, for a month or two. They then get back on schedule.

If you are taking the pill exactly as presecribed, you are "safe" all the time.
