Best Condom

What do you guys find to be the best condom on terms of relability.

Well, I am not sure but I am thinking that all condoms manufactured and sold in the USA have to meet FDA standards so most of them are pretty safe. However, I would stay away from the Planned Parenthood brand condoms. From what I have heard, they are not the best available and seem to have a high rate of breakage. If you are looking for a condom that is really strong, try Durex Extra Strength or Lifestyles Extra Strength or Trojan Extra Strength. You may be able to find extra strength condoms in other brands as well. However, I would highly recommend that if you are wanting a very reliable condom, that you stick with the name brand ones and not go to the generic ones. Also, for added safety, put a drop of lube inside the condom and also on the outside of the condom. Also, make sure that you follow the package directions for storing condoms. Storing them in your wallet is not a good idea. If you have a condom that has not been stored properly, it is best to play it safe and throw it away. Also, make sure that the condoms you are using are not past the expiration date. And last but not least, make sure that you put the condom on properly! For some extra protection against pregnancy, use a spermicide inside your female partner's vagina (that is of course assuming that you are with a female partner). If you are having sex with a male partner, make sure that you use lots of lube for anal sex.

Oh I forgot to mention to make sure that you have the proper size of condom. If the condom is too tight, it could easily break. If the condom is too large, it could slip off. Thankfully, condoms come in three or four standard sizes for those who are smaller than average, average, larger than average, and much larger than average. Any major brand, including those distributed by Planned Parenthood - they are not manufacturers - that you will find in a clinic or pharmacy are good. Generally, avoid those from machines or sex shoppes. These latter may be perfectly good but they also sell stuff that would be considered "specialty items" that are not intended for protection.

I didn't feel like starting a new thread with such a similar thread out there, so i'll try this and see if i get any replies:

I've been trying a variety of condoms lately, trying to find the one that provide's the best feel for me. I've tried a bunch of the Trojan brand condom (Twisted pleasure, her pleasure, extra sensitive, ultra thin, ultra ribbed, and i just bought a box of ultra pleasure but havent tried them). I've also tried a couple of Durex brand, Intense Sensation and Ultimate Feeling i believe.

Now my question is, what brand and type do you prefer? As is obvious, i've been a trojan man for a long time, but right now i'm trying to branch out and try something new. I bought a three pack of Lifestyles Ultra Pleasure that i'm gonna try soon, but as of yet i still can't figure out my favorite condom. it's almost as hard as determining my favorite beer, there are just so many to choose from

durex and trojan are good, but i know that with my bfs ex he used lifestyles and 3 out of the 3 times they used it they broke....we have never had a condom break so just beware! also make sure you store it in appropriate temperatures

hmm, that's kind of disturbing to hear. i used the first Lifestyles of the pack i referred to last night, and it was probably the best feel i've had from a condom so far. it was almost like wearing nothing. It didn't break or anything either. but that's something i'll have to watch out for

well what do you do if a condom does break apart from damn the manufacturer or the person that put it on wrong ? frankly I would not have the foggiest where to get spemicide here in italy

Durex extra sensitive are great! Never broke on me once, and they are much thinner and don't smell at all. They are the only kind I ever buy anymore.

I hate those condoms that when you open the package and the whole room smells like latex... Bleh! Total mood killer.

I prefer Ansell Xtra Pleasure. They are looser fitting at the tip, which allows for a bit more stimulation than the tight fitting ones.
