Condoms with adhesive strips?

I understand that the main way condoms "fail" is that the semen leaks out of the opening where the erect penis goes in, and that this is supposedly more common than any kind of failures involving it breaking or slipping off.

What I'm wondering is if there are condoms available anywhere that have an adhesive strip around the inside of the "ring" so that it sticks to the penis and forms a seal. This would help prevent roll-downs, slip offs and leakage.

I've never actually seen anything like this, but I think such things would make me feel a lot safer in using condoms as part of a plan to prevent pregnancy.

I am not aware of any condoms with adhesives.

The best way to prevent leakage is to either purchase the style condome with a built-in reservoir, or, to make one yourself prior to rolling a standard one on. You can do the latter by pinching off half an inch or more between the thumb and forefinger and then rolling the condom on. This gives the semen someplace to flow and be stored. You don't just want to roll one on and have the end up against the tip of your penis.

Does not sound practical. Some need to unroll more than others; changes in girth would become painful.

This is the reason that having spermicide in the vagina to backup the condom is such a good idea.

And just imagin pulling it off afterwards...reminds me of ducttape and word ouch comes to mind

Yeah, after reading this and the other responses, it seems less than practical. Maybe something with a somewhat elastic ring would work better.
