Question Brandye- questions on the pill?

how can i tell if i should be on a combination pill or the other kind? i'm on a combination one right now, but how do i know it's right for me?
i'd really appreciate ANY advice.

Talk to your prescriber. If you are having no problems with what you are on, it is right for you. If you are having undesireable side-effects, the doctor maay switch you to another. Some doctors have a preference based on their experience; some, such as I, have habits we return to and adjust from there. Most women do fine with what they start with; others may have to try a few.

Simply stated: You know it is right for you if you have confidence in your doctor and are experiencing no untoward side-effects.

you know the mg is right for you if you dont have breakthough bleeding occure.. if you do, then the mg is too low.. or its not the right brand for you.

and sometimes when the pill is right for you.. you can come close to missing your period from your body takeing to thinking its really pregnant.
