I really need anyone with experience on this one!
Okay I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend several times, so one day we decided to talk the Emergency contraception pill (morning after pill) to atleast knock off a couple days. Alright, then a few days after that, i went on the birth control pill. When you first start the birth control pill, you're not supposed to have sex for 7 days. Of course we did have sex a few times (im an idiot) but he didn't cum inside me. Now comes the time when i should be getting my period, and MY STOMACH IS KILLING ME. I am having severe cramps, i yesterday at practice i had to leave early because i was so nauseous. So then I went over to my boyfriend's house to take a pregnancy test. We followed the directions very carefully, and it came back negative. I am very confused. My doctor told me two weeks before that i probably wasn't pregnant and that if i don't get my period around now, that i should take a test. So, i DID. But now i'm sitting here, with stomach cramps for the past day and a half, and it SEEMS as if i'm getting my period, but it just isn't here yet. Its the 21st, and last month it came on the 22nd and the month before that on the 24. But i'm also confused because my doctor said that my period should come like one or two days earlier than usual. UGHHH im so frustrated! Could i be pregnant from the couple of times we did it last week? (during the 7 days youre supposed to abstain to wait for the pill to work) Or could i just be sick????? |

Honey,
You need your own help. Between the morning after pill, going onto the pill and taking inordinate risks, no one can tell what is going on. The mix of hormones in your body could affect the pregnancy test in any direction. The extreme cramps, etc, could be a miscarriage in the happening. Probably half of all pregnancies end this way without the woman ever "knowing" sha was pregnant. None of this is diagnostic. You have messed yourself up a bit and it will take a complete menstrual cycle to get leveled off. Unprotected sex is intended to get us pregnant. Contraception gives us some reduction in that gender imperative. Get some respect for yourself.

You have given yourself good cause to be paranoid. In fact, it is not paranoia it is simply messing yourself up big time.
You are one of three in the last week who has posted about getting her system all fouled up with erratic administration of hormones. Misusing the pill actually can increase the chance of pregnancy.
