my penis has been smelling pretty bad for about the past two months now, and also it looks like skin seems to be coming off alot, when ever im in the shower and rub the top of my penis the "skin" rubs away, it doesnt hurt but it does smell pretty bad a lot of the time, i clean my penis everyday but the problem still stays. any advice on what the problem is and how to get rid of it?

The foul smell is related to some kind of infection. If you have been circumcised, there is really no place for bacteria to lurk on the outside. If uncircumcised, the little devls can hide through the best washings. I suspect that the smell is coming from inside the urethra. We all (men and women) are subject to urethritis from time to time. Sometimes the symptoms never go beyond the bad smell but it will not cure itself. You need medication for whichever. A topical cream is available for externally and there are pills to take care of urethritis.

would i be able to get the cream/pills at a local drug store or would i have to go to the doctors?

If this is inside, (that is urethritis/prostatitis) you will prescription medication. If on the surface, maybe not but the doctor can tell what to use to cure it and not just hide it.
