Birth Control Symptoms?

I got on birth control a month and almost a week ago and I've been getting more irritable lately. It started a little before my period so I thought that was it but that was almost two weeks ago so I know it's not that. I've looked it up but all I found was clinic depression and I don't feel depressed or tired or anything, I've just been getting frustrated with everything a lot more. So would this be because of the birth control pill I'm using?

could be that you are getting too much hormones or something.
there are a lot of different BC pills and some women have to try 2-3 to find the one that work well w/ their body.
I take ortho-tricyclen lo, its supposed to have lower doses of hormones. Ive been on it for years and haven't noticed anything bad.

I use Nortrel 7/7/7. I didn't notice anything until a couple weeks ago and now I feel like I've been having a period for 3 weeks. I was thinking about seeing my doctor but I wanted to be sure about it before I did anything.

I've also been having this problem lately..i've been on my pills for about 2 and a half packs. only this week have i noticed that everything is starting to bother me. even my boyfriend seems to get me irritated and i dont know why! im getting a little frustrated because everything is getting me upset. I don't want this to affect my relationship becasue im getting bothered over stupid things blah.

Yeah I'm the same way and it's really bothering me too. I read that it takes 2 - 3 months (depending on the girl) for your body to get used to it but I might end up switching to something with lower hormones.
