Okay. Well i know i am clean. I got tested 8 months ago after my last sexual encounter. I came up clean. I have never had an STD and dont intend to. My new girlfriend I love very much and when we get into the state of our relationship where we do have sex.
I was wondering how should i ask her about getting tested. She has had a few previous partners that I dont know about. I dont want it to make it sound like im a jerk by saying "i think you're dirty" i really love this girl so i am trying to think of the nicest way of saying it.. any help would be appreciated, thank you

The only reasonable approach is something such as, "We each have been around a while and, while generally careful, things do happen. How about if we go together and each get tested for our mutual protection."
