Hi I have a question that i was wondering about....i have herpes on my lips sometimes......i have never had sex and i have never gave oral sex......i get outbreaks of herpes on my lips sometimes and i was wondering if one day i could give a girl genital herpes from my oral herpes......i really hope not but i was just wondering....

Hi O.G,
The herpes virus you have is type 1. Genital herpes is the type 2 virus. You can't give a girl genital herpes if you have oral herpes. You CAN give her type 1 herpes from oral sex. If your lips are broken out, avoid contact with any part of another person's body with them. Look here: LINK That site should tell you everything you need to know.
