pregnant?

i had sex on november 4th, and because im paranoid took an EC that monday. im worried that it didn't work because i was supposed to get my period on/around the 17th of november, but it still hasn't come. i don't have any signs of pregnancy at all. is it because i'm stressed an worrying about it too much that i'm late? thanks.

You leave much for us to assume.

1. Given the dates you show here, you had sex on a fertile day right in the middle of your cycle. You do not indicate whether or not any form of contraception was used at the time of intercourse.
2. Having sex on Friday and waiting until Monday to take the emergency contraception is reaching the end of the effective time for EC. You do not indicate what EC you used; most are about 75% effective used as soon as possible after intercourse.
3. You are now nearly two weeks overdue. THAT is the greatest "sign" of pregnancy that there is.

Perhaps you are stressed out and that could be a factor but you certainly stacked the deck against yourself. I would recommend a trip to Planned Parenthood or other responsible sex education group before continuing vaginal sexual activity. In the meantime, get a home pregnancy test and see what that tells you.
