bad breath and birth control?

my girlfriend just recently started taking birth control. in the last couple of weeks i have noticed that she has had bad breath and i was wondering if that is a side affect of the birth control or not.

try suggesting you both brush your teeth before sex or whatever or bring mouthwash. The women I have slept with know I am a germaphobe so just tell her that, always worked for me

I am not aware of any relationship between taking hormones and bad breath. Something else is going on.
