i know the price will vary from state to state, doctor to doctor, etc.

but how much on average will it cost to be testing for STDs? are there STD screenings that test for everything?

if anyone has been tested for anything, would you please post how much it costed?

thanks in advance

It depends on where you go. I strongly suggest planned parenthood. There it depends on income. I was tested and it was $150 bucks with a urine test. An AIDS test is about another $150 bucks but is done with a blood test and they recommend waiting 6 mths. There is one other std test with the blood work and I am going on memory that it was for Clamydia (sp),

Wow. I'm glad I live in Canada. I got a refferal from my gyno to go see a doctor in a hospital and it was free. He did bloodwork and vaginal swabs to check for STDs all in one. You can't get it free in a hospital?

I'd just like to bump this thread to see if anyone else has more information or another experience in cost, I'm a college student with a limited income and fairly stupidly have never been tested (i've only had unprotected sex with two girlfriends who i trust told me their true sexual history and had been tested, but just to be safe)...anyway, for those of us males who can't go to a obgyn, where do you recommend we go and how much can we expect to pay for a test of the full line of STDs?

Try checking with your local (County) Department of Health and see what they offer...
