I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but I've been on the pill for almost a year now, and it seems like my sex drive has gone down drastically. When I'm off the pill for a week or so though [when i'm on my period] I really get ''in the mood'' and want to do stuff. I really need some answers to see if anyone else is or has gone through this... is it something to so with my age or what? I'm afraid to talk to my doctor because I'm only 17 and it must sound weird or bad that I partake in sex.

There are about forty different pills available. Some women need to try sevral to find one they tolerate well. Tell your doctor and get a change. It is likely that one is right for you and they are designed to prevent pregnancy not to stop sex.

that happened to me actually. the pills put me into very deep depression, where i didnt want to do nothing, and i wasnt even sexually attartive to my b/f anymore, but after i got of em , i started to feel horny again, u should consider switching pills, or taking some time off from them , good luck <3
