Not quite sure I understand your question.
I have been on the pill for almost 2 years.
2 months would be minimal considering it takes almost that long to get your body adjusted and on the right cycle.
Maybe if you clarify I can answer better

Yea
Ok I've heard of women doing that say if there period is going to fall during a vacation or special event, etc.
I guess its safe, not really sure.
I know they make that new Seasonale where you go for 3 months straight and then have your period.
Maybe Brandye, the Dr, will have a better answer

Athletes and others with some perceived need, getting married, travelling, do use the pill to avoid a period. Safe? Depends.

You are messing with your endocrine system. There are some pills that are more amenable than others to thi use and there is now one on the market that allows for four periods a year.

Do not do it on your ow, Talk to your prescriber. She will have some advice based on how you have adapted to your present medication. It is amazing how messed up we can get ourselves and, even, end up pregnant as we come off multiple months. Talk to your doctor.

i just got off of birth control, it made me go crazy, didnt help my cramps at all, my boobs never grew, i never gained weight, and after a few months i fell into depression, and it also killed my sex drive.

If you dont want your period, I get the deporalovera injuection because I cant take the pill, it gives me depression, and i dont get my period anymore, its great! I have had no side affects what so ever...

Angry

Ive skipped my 7 day break only once during 2 years of pill taking. I was "due" when i was going away for my brothers graduation ceremony, so didnt want my period then.

Next time my 7 day break came my cramps were heavier than usual (not as heavy as before the pill tho!) so unless something really important comes up again I wont be skiping breaks *

oh, and i asked my Dr beforehand if it was safe for me to do this and he said it was ok, but for me not to do it alot (depends on the type of pill you are on)
