Antibiotics

hello.... I have been on the pill since i was 13(not because i was sexually active that young, but to help with my period) well i have learned that using an antibiotic while you are on birth control kills the pill (my sister was born due to this error) lol well... i had a kidney infection and the day i started the antibiotics was the first pill for the week of my period.. i was suppose to be on the antibiotics for a week but i didnt take them but 3 days and i didnt even take 4 a day like i was suppose to.. but anyways.. my question is.... When is it okay to assume my pill is working again? the Dr. said when i start a new pack but i dont think she knew i was already on the end of the pack i was on....

not to preach but when you are given antibiotics its for a reason. you should take them like it says, and take ALL of them, or its pointless.
just to be safe, i would probably go at least a week thru my new pack of pills before I had sex again. Or, if not, just use a back up method, ie condom, and it should be fine.
that way your body has time to get back on its cycle.
this is just my educated guess tho.
