Unhappy

Hi I've had a smear test and the result came back normal, I was wondering if it is possible for hpv or herpes to go undetected?

This is an older post, but there were no responses so I thought I'd give my two cents. I am by NO means a doctor, but I believe that if your pap-smear (which I assume is what your refering to) comes back normal your good. However, if your really nervous about it, I would call your doctor's office and just ask the nurse on duty. I have a slight anxiety disorder so fears like this can really mess me up. Calling the doctor can be a fast and easy way to get rid of some stress.
