ok, my guy and i had unprotected sex the other night. I've been on the pill for about 8 months now. I didn't let him cum in me, but i do know that there is sperm in pre-cum and i'm freaking out that i could get pregnant from it. I know most people say that when you get your period you'll know you're not pregnant, but i have heard of people having their period all throughout their pragnancy.

So, i feel i do only have a very small chance of getting pregnant, but my main question is i've only just became sexual active in the past few weeks so would this cause me to have a delay in my period because of the hormons "change" or whatever?

I'm scared that if my period is late or something, because of me starting to become sexualy active i'll have a break down and think i'm pregnant.

FYI, i've only missed the pill once and that was like the first month i started using it. Since then i've taken it everyday and pretty much the same time everyday.

Speaking from experience with this.......I doubt you have anything to truly worry about regarding being protected by your meds. If you guage everything by your period and worry yourself constantly it will effect your period timing or even cause you to miss it and thus lead you to falsely believe you are pregnant.

The idea of being on the pill is that you can have natural sex in every way if you wish. The fact that you have been on the pill so long and take it about the same time every day leads me to believe you are OK. Having missed a pill, you can take two the next day and make it up. Still that was when you first started. The real danger would be having unprotected sex when you come off the pill for a month or two to ovulate. I think this is how some of these people have those quintuplets you hear about. I doubt you have any worries now and having him to withdraw before cumming is good exercise for him too, as he will learn to sense his signals and know when to pull out when necessary.

In school they showed us these films where there are millions of sperm cells, but not all are for impregnating the egg or ovum. Still all it takes is one, but the chances are less if he doesn't cum in you. Better he use a condom while you are on the pill if you wish to feel his cum inside you. It seems for many girls to be a wonderful experience to feel the warmth of his ograsm inside them when in passions embrace.

True there can be sperm cells in pre-cum. Young fellows sperm count is higher as a teen than any other time in his life.
The count goes down slowly and steadily in the late twenties
and by fourty it is way down. Women have to be careful when they get to around fifty when menopause comes. They may think they have passed thru their changes and find themselves pregnant with what is called a menopause baby.
I was a senior in high school and a girl in one of my classes mom got pregnant this way. She just walked around school bewildered like she was in shock. I think it was from the way they had watched over her so strictly making sure she didn't get herself pregnant in school and all.....and then mom and dad wound up preggers!

Even tho there are those rare chances that a woman can become pregnant on the pill, for most of us we are 97-99% ok I believe. the commercials say 99% effective but you know.
And, the fact he doesn't cum inside you also helps. 8 months is definetly long enough for the pill to have started working and protecting you. It would be different if it was the first month.
Ive been on the pill for just a year now. My period is pretty much right on track but Im not stressing over either. Have you taken any other meds like antibiotics lately? Those can cancel out BC and when I took them, my cycle was all crazy for about a month.

If you have been on the pill for eight months, you are "protected." Nothing short of abstinence is 100% sure but the pill is about as good as it gets. If you are in such an emotional state, maybe it is not yet time for vaginal sex.

Okay, i had my period this week. Which is a good thing. But i do have a question.

If you do have sex a few days before your period starts then you can still have your period and be pregnant and then starting next month you wont have your period? Or well i know some do their entire pragnancy.

I have felt strange the past few days. Really moody and i cant seem to stop eating. It could be just because i am on my period...but i'm not usually like this. I really think it is all in my head. I really think i should get a pregnancy test but i would still be paranoid because tests are not 100% correct and ugh! Id go to my doctors but i dont want to drive 2 hours and id go to one of those health clinic places, but i feel to embarrased to go in.

I don't feel like i am not ready to have sex, i just dont want to get pregnant and it freaks me out.
