trojans not so trusty?

theres been a few stories ive heard about guys usin trojans and them breakin and stuff, one time this girl told me the guy was wearin a trojan, AND she was on the pill and still got pregnant, and theres also been other stories but thats all ill tell. so shuld i dump all my trojans and get something else, if i have to do that, what should i get?

Let me clue you in, any condom, at anytime, can break.

I personally trust trojan over a lot of brands. A lot of people do. I know people who use them a lot more frequently than I do and they've never had one break on them.

But anyways, the decision is up to you. If you want to throw out the trojans and get something else, then go for it.

the more lube you have the less likely a condom will break.
don't just account for the lube on the condom. if it seems like there isn't enough, buy some. put some inside the condom and out. its supposed to make it feel better too.

plus, don't believe all the "stories" you hear. I find it highly unlikely if a girl was taking the pill correctly and they used a condom correctly and it didn't break that she would get pregnant. oh well, stranger things have happened.

The lielihood of becoming pregnant when on the pill and using a condom is miniscule. But it can happen. There have been extensive studies on condoms (often conducted in brothels) and there is no measureable difference between brands. It is interesting that in a brothel of, say, twenty women, most of the breakage occurs with two or three of the women. Says more about sexual activity than quality of condoms.

Incidentally, most condom "failures" do not involve breakage. It is more common that there is leakage around the open end. That is the reason that the little pamphlet emphasizes withdrawal (no fun) immediately after ejaculation. This is also the reason that vaginal jelly is an important addition to her protection.
