Birth control make sex fine?

My gf takes birth control..I heard u can have sex without a condom and be fine..is this true or no.

Assuming you are talking about the pill then you have a high chance of avoiding conception, but you will not have any protection against STDs.

the pill is said to be 99% effective when taken correctly. that means making sure you always take them the same time every day and not skipping any.
i also read somewhere on here Brandye saying if 100 women on BC have sex during a year, 3 will get pregnant.

go check under Brandye Chick Chat and theres all kinds of stuff about birthcontrol and statistics of pregnancy, etc.

If they have active sex lives throughout the year roughly 3 out of 100 will get pregnant.

Not that roughly 3 out of 100 sexual encounters while on the pill produce pregancy.

its out of 100 women not 100 times.
which i never understood how they base that on. some women have sex 5 times a week and others once a month. lol

i guess you just take a chance either way.

Also curious as to stat seen in magazine over how many times people in different countires have sex a year.

Do people keep little tallies above there bed or something and report it at the end of the year?

Still, going back to birth control, nothing like a vasectomy for providing security.

Well, we both know neither of us have STD's, we've been checked and were both clean. We had it once without because we didnt ahve any...MY BAD (Durex commercial ) so were good..Thanks everyone.

So if were clean and she uses the bc pill, we are good rigght.

well we've given you the stats so its really up to you.
remember she has to take them exactly right or its not going to work correctly.
also, remember that if she ever has to take antibiotics that you use a back up method b/c they cancel out BC.

my b/f and i just use the pill, but i take mine religiously.
theres still always that chance tho.

anyhoo if you don't want to wear a condom you could also try something w/ spermicide. that way it protects w/out having the condom feel.
