Periods and the pill

If by some small chance (3% I suppose that chance would be ) you got pregnant while you were on the pill... would you get your period when you were onto your placebos?

I know that it may depend on where in the packet you'd be up to or something...

I'm curious more than worried.

If you got pregnant before you started your period, even on the pill, you will not get your period in most cases. But strange things do happen however.

There are documented cases of women having their periods through their entire pregnancy. Rare, but as Li'l Fury says .....

Typically, you would not get your period. If your period does not show up, you should ask your prescriber what to do. You do not want to continue taking the pill if you have become pregnant.

Incidentally, that 3% is that among 100 women taking the pill properly for one year, 3 will become pregnant.
