Pill, no period

I've been on birth control for about 8 months now, starting with Alesse, and two months ago I switched to Nordette 28. My first period on Nordette came fine and on time. This second month, however, I haven't gotten it yet. I usually start my period on tuesday morning and it is wednesday night and I have nothing. My boyfriend and I have had sex a couple of times this month without a condom, but he never ejaculated inside me. What is the possiblity that I am pregnant? I've taken the pill religiously all month. Please help! I'm so worried.

The chance of your being pregnant is very slim. Clearly this pill is not to your system's liking. Not unusual; some of my patients try three or four until one suits them. The important thing is to talk to your prescriber and continue with the pill until you see her. Read the directions that came with your prescription.
