Double Pills

Hey, ive been on the pill since dec 03, and have followed my doctors orders right down to the last detail!

I got the pill because of very painful periods (usually ended up in bed for 2 or 3 days, usless when i have exams ect!) and going on the pill brought it down to just having an achey feeling on the first day, which was miles better than before!

Recently i worked out that my break would be while i was away for my brothers graduation, but my doctor had told me it was ok to go onto the next pill packet without a break, but only to do this every now and again, not each month.

Now im on the break, after 42 days of contraceptive pill, and the pain has come back! does doing the double up mean more pain? how have others done when experiencing this?

Your doctor has said all that matters. Many women do this on their own. The prescribing physician should always be in on the decision. Some people are unsuited for spacing their periods with the pill and for all, it should be an exceptional thing.

Botoom line is simply that you bought the convenience and there is a price to pay. It will obly last through the one period.
