ok my girl smells really fishy in her vagina. but it only happens like after she urinates. before she may have had a yeast infection, but these symptoms are completely different. she smells really fishy, and there is a little bleeding. she is sometimes nauseated, light headed, and has some cramping. her period should be within a few days. but she has had these symptoms for a week or 2. if it is definitely an STD im sure its a bacterial. i know they can be treated with antibiotics. i just want to know if i need a specific antibiotic, or if i can just get one of the types that can treat STD's. also, is there anything else to use to treat this?

unless you live in canada or mexico i think, usually you can't just go and buy whatever meds you want.
i know mexico is pretty leniate...and i think canada.. anyhoo
here in american you can't do that lol. is all im saying.

she could have a urinary tract infection since you mentioned its there after she pees.
it could be a lot of different things. why guess around about something like that when she should definetly go to the doctor.
i mean fishy smell is one thing, but when you combine it w/ nausea, being light headed, cramping, those aren't normal effects and could be serious.
hopefully Brandye will have a better diagnosis.

yeast infections are usually itchy and have a discharge.
i saw on tv once the DR was like if you think you have a yeast infection, buy an OTC remedy. if it works..great... if not? then get to your DR.

For heaven's sake, you do not find a cure for a very poorly described condition through a message board. See a doctor or go to a women's clinic. After I ride my bike fifty miles, I smell fishy. What's your diagnosis.

I would definately recommend going to the doctor, when I was 19 I had a chlamydial infection and I had all of the symptoms you are describing. If this is true she needs to get medical attention before it hurts her chances of getting pregnant in the future.
