But from what i can garner, weight gain is not one of the side effects listed

I think that it really depends on the type of birth control you're on and you, because everybody reacts differently to it. For me I gained alot of weight on the Depo shot. So I ón stayed on it for 3 injections and decided enough is enough but now some people don't gain anything on Depo either.

yeah every women reacts different to BC. its not that the pill makes you fat its just it starts affecting your hormones like when you are prego or pms'n. then you just start craving and snacking too much and pack on the extra pounds.
i think ive gained maybe 5 lbs. ive tried not to snack too much lol.

I never gained any weight on the pills. However they did make me have no libido and gave me yeast infections every month.
