k so im with this girl and i know she sleeps around and has had unprotected sex. i always use a condom but what are the chances of me getting and STD if she has one when using a condom, i think i read it was about 95-99% effective but can i get one by giving/receiving oral?

yes, stds can be transmitted orally.

Just what thetease said. UNfortunatly, male condoms can't completely protect you. I think you can actually still get herpes and crabs with male condom. YOu could try also using a female condom, and then you're giving her oral, use a dental damn. You should be able to get both at any sex shop.

Instead of being super nervous about it, GO GET TESTED. It's the only way to know for certain.

Better yet.....if this person is sleeping around and having unprotected sex...this may be a good one to throw into the "just say no" category.
I know it's not easy to say NO to uncomplicated sex...but, trust me, if u DO get herpes, it's for life. If you got hiv, its for life, if you get an STD, the humiliatoin - but absolute necessity - of going to a DR to get antibiotics.....well...is it worth it? Just something to ponder
