yeah id definetly check w/ your DR b/c that isn't normal.
maybe her pills aren't strong enough to control her periods, or maybe they are too strong and have you all out of whack. its not good for your body. i know i hate going to the DR too, but the worrying and wondering would drive me more insane. good luck.

Definately see your DR.
Write a list of things down what happens to you and take it to your doctor. Have you kept a journal for when this happens? A journal is always effective, however is not necessary. As it's been said however, you must see your DR because chances of having kids etc. are at great risk, not just your period.

You do not give your age or menstrual history. It is common among younger women to have erratic periods. They stabilize over a period of years as your hormones rebalance themselves. In the meantime, if your period is irregular, so is your ovulation. You must be extra careful and it is possible to get pregnant during your period. Do see a doctor, even at a free clinic. If you are beyond the time when most women become more regular, the doctor may well use the pill to regulate your period. Generic forms are quite inexpensive.
