Sex during 7 day pill free period.

Is it possible top have unprotected sex during the 7 days off the pill before starting a new pack? I assume this is OK as the dosages in the pill before this gap or the body cater for this.

Any ideas please?

i would assume its ok. the pill itself isn't stopping pregnancy, as in its not a spermicide or anything. it just regulates your cycle and its supposed to keep you from ovulating.

the 7 days you go w/out a pill are the days you are supposed to be on your period.
although mine usually starts around tue or wed and ends saturday. *so there 2-3 days i go w/out pills and my period hasn't started yet.
thats on a sunday-saturday schedule

Follow the instructions for the specific pill you are on and you are protected from pregnancy whenever - except when you are on anit-biotics.

Ok. I have a question that is near this format.
Me and my girlfriend were having sex and she is on the pill. The sunday to saturday schedule. Now she doesn't start her period until usually wednesday. I was wondering if it is okay to have sex without wearing a condom and still be protected between sunday and wednesday? (isn't taking pills for that 7 day period and having sex for the first 3 days she doesn't take the pill) I sure hope someone has an answer for me..

Even with the pill I would still wear a condom.
The pill nor the condom itself is 100% effective. But using them together, while still not 100% fool proof, will cut back on your chances.

I just talked to a pharmasist and he told me that the days that she didn't take her pill and didn't have her period yet.. she isn't liable to getting pregnant Although it is still a good idea to wear a condom as well since it will continuously lower the chances of pregnancies.
