depo provera??

hi guys,
I've been on Depo since June last yr..I've never had any side effects, no period, bleeding, spotting or anything up until now..for the apst few weeks, i've had spotting..and i rememebr when i first got it my gyno told me that if i dont have spotting/bleeding etc in the beginning it wont come later either..i am nto sure if that was wrong or w/e...anywasy do any of u know about this sudden side effect?? also does anyone if there is a different kind of needle, becuz my skin has become rather abd since I've been on Depo....like wiht the pill-lots of different kinds..
